Here's the full view of the new kitchen! We used the same space but made it more functional and open by replacing the L-shaped peninsula that cut off the eating area with an island. This provides more movement around the kitchen as well as additional seating.
The white cabinets are Plain & Fancy Vogue recessed panel cabinets finished in Cascade white. The hardware throughout is from Top Knobs. The island features Plain & Fancy Vogue walnut cabinets, with Tamarind stain. The counter top on the island is Taj Mahal Quartzite. The floor is porcelain tile. The paneled refrigerator is from the GE Monogram series as is the microwave, wall oven, hood and dishwasher. The range is Wolf. The back splash is white 3x12 subway tile.

Transitions Kitchens and Baths
This traditional kitchen design is packed with features that will make it the center of this home. The white perimeter kitchen cabinets include glass front upper cabinets with in cabinet lighting. A matching mantel style hood frames the large Wolf oven and range. This is contrasted by the gray island cabinetry topped with a wood countertop. The walk in pantry includes matching cabinetry with plenty of storage space and a custom pantry door. A built in Wolf coffee station, undercounter wine refrigerator, and convection oven make this the perfect space to cook, socialize, or relax with family and friends.

TELFORD+BROWN STUDIO ARCHITECTURE
The sloping site for this modest, two-bedroom house provides views through an oak savanna to Oregon’s Yamhill Valley and the Coastal Mountain Range. Our clients asked for a simple, modern, comfortable house that took advantage of both close and distant views. It’s long bar-shaped plan allows for views from each space, maximum day-lighting and natural ventilation. Centered in the bar is the great room, which includes the living, dining, and kitchen spaces. To one side is a large deck and a terrace off the other. The material palette is simple: beams, windows, doors, and cabinets are all Douglas Fir and the floors are all either hardwood or slate.

This 6,500-square-foot one-story vacation home overlooks a golf course with the San Jacinto mountain range beyond. The house has a light-colored material palette—limestone floors, bleached teak ceilings—and ample access to outdoor living areas.

With an open plan complete with sky-high wood planked ceilings, every interior element of this kitchen is beautiful and functional. The massive concrete island centered in the space sets the bold tone and provides a welcome place to cook and congregate. Grove Brickworks in Sugar White lines the walls throughout the kitchen and leads into the adjoining spaces, providing an industrial aesthetic to this organically inspired home.

We re-designed a rustic lodge home for a client that moved from The Bay Area. This home needed a refresh to take out some of the abundance of lodge feeling and wood. We balanced the space with painted cabinets that complimented the wood beam ceiling. Our client said it best - Bonnie’s design of our kitchen and fireplace beautifully transformed our 14-year old custom home, taking it from a dysfunctional rustic and outdated look to a beautiful cozy and comfortable style.
