Caribbean Beachfront Estate

Large dining room in a Caribbean beachfront estate. Our clients didn't want the "typical" tropical decor, preferring modern, contemporary furniture with simple lines. The salt air, humidity, and strong sun limited the use of some materials, such as metal that could rust, glass that becomes filmy, fabric that would fade from the sun or chlorine pool water. This table is about 9' long and seats 10 very comfortably. The racetrack shape allows for additional chairs to be pulled up without diners sitting at corners.
