Castle Street

Castle Street is a Grade 2 listed house by Harold Falkner, one of the leading English architects of the Arts & Crafts era. The Georgian facade belies an interesting arrangement of rooms, and working closely with the conservation officers and planners, we produced a contemporary extension which retained as much of the original as possible. The extension has a grass roof which creates a pleasant view from the upper rooms and the bifold doors bring the garden into the living space.
