The brief of this room was to unite the furniture and make it work. Old pieces inherited that were too special to get rid of had to be worked with. I designed a bespoke sofa to maximise the amount of seating offered in this generous room. The buttoned ottoman is the hero in the room for me offering a huge burst of colour. The sidebooard/media unit works well with the new floor and has a rose gold polished top oozing luxury. The large TV was hubby's selection and can be swiveled to watch at whatever end of the living room you are! The two cherished chairs were lovingly recovered in a neutral cosy chenille with a pop of bright cushions on both. We choose a classic dresser to house the spesh glassware and plates. A tall floor lamp and two side lamps from jonathan Adler offer some practical and mood lighting depending on where you are sitting. Mirror found at market and the chandelier is an Italian antique.
