Reubicamos la cocina en el espacio principal del piso, abriéndola a la zona de salón comedor. Aprovechamos su bonita altura para ganar mucho almacenaje superior y enmarcar el conjunto. El comedor lo descentramos para ganar espacio diáfano en la sala y fabricamos un banco plegable para ganar asientos sin ocupar con las sillas. Nos viste la zona de comedor la lámpara restaurada a juego con el tono verde del piso. La cocina es fabricada a KM0. Apostamos por un mostrador porcelánico compuesto de 50% del material reciclado y 100% reciclable al final de su uso. Libre de tóxicos y creado con el mínimo espesor para reducir el impacto material y económico. Los electrodomésticos son de máxima eficiencia energética y están integrados en el interior del mobiliario para minimizar el impacto visual en la sala.

This family home belongs to a wonderful family with 2 children and a dog. The original kitchen was very angular and separate from the dining and living spaces while open to an area that was used as a kids play space. By taking away the angles and opening up the kitchen to the dining area we created an open-plan kitchen dining living area with easy access to the exterior. We used Arctic White Gloss Melamine for the under bench and tall cupboards and Supreme Oak Puregrain Melamine for the overhead cupboards. The Oak adds warmth and appeal The White Ice Engineered Stone was used on the Benchtop as well as Splashback. It is crisp without being pure white and adds subtle interest. The layout allows for a zone for coffee making, cooking and preparation as well as cleaning. This was of great importance to the clients, as when family are visiting they all cook together.

Central to the project is a spacious new kitchen, dining, and living area created as part of a generous rear and side extension. dining and living area was envisioned as the vibrant heart of the home, offering a generous, light-filled environment that opens onto the south-facing garden. A refined palette of jewel tones-teal, tan, and orange-was introduced through furnishings and lighting, injecting warmth and personality into the space. The German-made Leicht kitchen combines rich walnut and dark concrete effect cabinetry with an antiqued mirror splashback, blending elegance with durability. The kitchen island serves as both a social hub and design feature, anchored by four comfortable tan leather bar stools and Bauhaus-inspired pendant lights that give the space a strong visual identity.
