This table set melds precision mathematics and procedural computation with the appearance of organic form. When put together, the 6 unique components form a simple rectangular low coffee table. When separated, the odd shapes of the components are evident and they can be used as end tables, benches, or sculptural objects. We developed the forms as a 3-dimensional Voronoi tessellation, an algorithm that permits nuanced formal variations. The basic components are made with precision CNC-cut sheets of Baltic Birch, laminated horizontally with exposed plywood edges, but the edges are shaped by hand to create subtle variations and unique features to each set.

Our glamorous lounge area shows the stunning interior and the subtle use of mood lighting using colour change lights. The colour change lights can be controlled using an amBX system which can be used to set a scene or even to make the colours change to music! Resene
Create a relaxing corner with a retro vibe, with dusky purple tones and shots of copper. Whether you call it hippy chic, modern boho, or retro 70s, this look takes the casual appeal of those styles and gives it a sophisticated twist.
Start with Resene Renaissance –a dusky mellow grape tone. Purple, black and gold are traditionally quite glamorous, regal colours. But by choosing different versions of them, you can take the look from hi-end to casual cool.
Pallets can be creatively re-used as pieces of furniture. Upcycle a wooden pallet by painting it in Resene Blackout and add some chunky castors to turn it into a coffee table. The floor is also in Resene Blackout and the yellow basket is in Resene Teddy.
Use the shutter as a handy hanging space. And instead of gold, use metallic paint, Resene Copper Fire. And the wooden hanger is finished in Resene Adrenalin.
It’s okay to use some shots of hot or bright colour in a setting like this but make sure you don’t overdo it, or the scheme will lose its cohesion.
Resene Copper Fire is used again on this glass vase – just tip a Resene testpot of the colour into the vase and swirl it around to gain a good coverage of paint.
