Our San Francisco-based studio designed our client's elegant bathroom and walk-in closet using natural materials and beautiful decor. We draped the bathroom walls in soft greige tiles with a delicate veining that adds an organic appeal. We installed a functional vanity with plenty of storage. A large mirror that goes all the way to the ceiling creates an expansive feel, making the space look bright and airy. The walk-in closet has plenty of space to plan a personalized wardrobe giving it a sophisticated, luxurious vibe. --- Project designed by ballonSTUDIO. The brief was to create a Classic Contemporary Ensuite and Principle bedroom which would be home to a number of Antique furniture items, a traditional fireplace and Classical artwork. We created key zones within the bathroom to make sufficient use of the large space; providing a large walk-in wet-floor shower, a concealed WC area, a free-standing bath as the central focus in symmetry with his and hers free-standing basins. We ensured a more than adequate level of storage through the vanity unit, 2 bespoke cabinets next to the window and above the toilet cistern as well as plenty of ledge spaces to rest decorative objects and bottles. We provided a number of task, accent and ambient lighting solutions whilst also ensuring the natural lighting reaches as much of the room as possible through our design. Our installation detailing was delivered to a very high level to compliment the level of product and design requirements.

Showhouse 2019

We were invited to participate in the 2019 Montecito Designer Showhouse for Montecito Life magazine. Our team designed the master suite including the master bedroom, bathroom, and connecting hallway. We gave both spaces a bohemian, natural, and sophisticated feel. The focal point of the master bedroom is the 6ft mirror hung on the wall next to the bed. It is a breathtaking design feature, and it makes the room feel larger. To make sure that the room feels completely bespoke, we worked with a local wood fabricator to make an accent wall out of angled wood pieces that were painted the same color as the surrounding room. This accent wall is right at the entrance to the master suite, so it sets the tone for a unique and gorgeous space. In the bathroom, we created an oasis by wrapping the entire space in tile and accenting it with bronze finishes in the mirrors and light fixtures. --- Project designed by Montecito interior designer Margarita Bravo. L’élégance par excellence Il s’agit d’une rénovation totale d’un appartement de 60m2; L’objectif ? Moderniser et revoir l’ensemble de l’organisation des pièces de cet appartement vieillot. Nos clients souhaitaient une esthétique sobre, élégante et ouvrir les espaces. Notre équipe d’architecte a ainsi travaillé sur une palette de tons neutres : noir, blanc et une touche de bois foncé pour adoucir le tout. Une conjugaison qui réussit à tous les coups ! Un des exemples les plus probants est sans aucun doute la cuisine. Véritable écrin contemporain, la cuisine @ikeafrance noire trône en maître et impose son style avec son ilot central. Les plans de travail et le plancher boisés font échos enter eux, permettant de dynamiser l’ensemble. Le salon s’ouvre avec une verrière fixe pour conserver l’aspect traversant. La verrière se divise en deux parties car nous avons du compter avec les colonnes techniques verticales de l’immeuble (qui ne peuvent donc être enlevées).
