Casa Nevado, en una pequeña localidad de Extremadura: La restauración del tejado y la incorporación de cocina y baño a las estancias de la casa, fueron aprovechadas para un cambio radical en el uso y los espacios de la vivienda. El bajo techo se ha restaurado con el fin de activar toda su superficie, que estaba en estado ruinoso, y usado como almacén de material de ganadería, para la introducción de un baño en planta alta, habitaciones, zona de recreo y despacho. Generando un espacio abierto tipo Loft abierto. La cubierta de estilo de teja árabe se ha restaurado, aprovechando todo el material antiguo, donde en el bajo techo se ha dispuesto de una combinación de materiales, metálicos y madera. En planta baja, se ha dispuesto una cocina y un baño, sin modificar la estructura de la casa original solo mediante la apertura y cierre de sus accesos. Cocina con ambas entradas a comedor y salón, haciendo de ella un lugar de tránsito y funcionalmente acorde a ambas estancias. Fachada restaurada donde se ha podido devolver las figuras geométricas que antaño se habían dispuesto en la pared de adobe. El patio revitalizado, se le han realizado pequeñas intervenciones tácticas para descargarlo, así como remates en pintura para que aparente de mayores dimensiones. También en el se ha restaurado el baño exterior, el cual era el original de la casa.

This Park City Ski Loft remodeled for it's Texas owner has a clean modern airy feel, with rustic and industrial elements. Park City is known for utilizing mountain modern and industrial elements in it's design. We wanted to tie those elements in with the owner's farm house Texas roots.

The guest bath at times will be used by up to twelve people. The tub/shower and watercloset are each behind their own doors to make sharing easier. An extra deep counter and ledge above provides space for guests to lay out toiletries.

3 Bedroom, 3 Bath, 1800 square foot farmhouse in the Catskills is an excellent example of Modern Farmhouse style. Designed and built by The Catskill Farms, offering wide plank floors, classic tiled bathrooms, open floorplans, and cathedral ceilings. Modern accent like the open riser staircase, barn style hardware, and clean modern open shelving in the kitchen. A cozy stone fireplace with reclaimed beam mantle.

Old World European, Country Cottage. Three separate cottages make up this secluded village over looking a private lake in an old German, English, and French stone villa style. Hand scraped arched trusses, wide width random walnut plank flooring, distressed dark stained raised panel cabinetry, and hand carved moldings make these traditional farmhouse cottage buildings look like they have been here for 100s of years. Newly built of old materials, and old traditional building methods, including arched planked doors, leathered stone counter tops, stone entry, wrought iron straps, and metal beam straps. The Lake House is the first, a Tudor style cottage with a slate roof, 2 bedrooms, view filled living room open to the dining area, all overlooking the lake. The Carriage Home fills in when the kids come home to visit, and holds the garage for the whole idyllic village. This cottage features 2 bedrooms with on suite baths, a large open kitchen, and an warm, comfortable and inviting great room. All overlooking the lake. The third structure is the Wheel House, running a real wonderful old water wheel, and features a private suite upstairs, and a work space downstairs. This project was a joy to work on, as we married our firm’s modern design aesthetic with the client’s more traditional and rustic taste. We gave new life to all three bathrooms in her home, making better use of the space in the powder bathroom, optimizing the layout for a brother & sister to share a hall bath, and updating the primary bathroom with a large curbless walk-in shower and luxurious clawfoot tub. Though each bathroom has its own personality, we kept the palette cohesive throughout all three.
