This extra bedroom was transformed into a home office for our clients. We added drywall and trim to the ceiling next to a fresh coat of paint! Not to mention the beautiful dark walnut stained butcher block and shelves that we hand refinished to top off the space. We were there every step of the way designing their space for our client to bring their vision to life!

The 2007 Mountain Living Magazine Natural Dream Home Warmboard joined with Ken Piper and Associates and numerous other eco-friendly suppliers to showcase green building trends. Dual sliding barn doors with black pipe handles (the same that was used in the bar!) form the entrance to the home gym. The spacious and bright room has a rubber floor. 40 tires were upcycled to create this sustainable and durable flooring. Like its namesake, the beloved Sleeping Beauty, this home embodies family, fantasy and adventure in their truest form. Visions are seldom what they seem, but this home did begin 'Once Upon a Dream'. The client had a finished basement space that was not functioning for the entire family. He spent a lot of time in his gym, which was not large enough to accommodate all his equipment and did not offer adequate space for aerobic activities. To appeal to the client's entertaining habits, a bar, gaming area, and proper theater screen needed to be added. There were some ceiling and lolly column restraints that would play a significant role in the layout of our new design, but the Gramophone Team was able to create a space in which every detail appeared to be there from the beginning. Rustic wood columns and rafters, weathered brick, and an exposed metal support beam all add to this design effect becoming real. Maryland Photography Inc.
