Country House Interior

This existing space was an undistinguished space, with an angled cathedral ceiling interrupted by a nearly useless balcony. The fireplace surround was ordinary, and the exposed brick chimney was a heavy intrusion. The walls were unpaneled and the circulation made the room feel more like a hallway.
