Dartmouth Park Georgian Town House

This kitchen was not a big space so I wanted to utilise the space as well not making it look too traditional but still functional. Glamour also. The kitchen units were hand made as there were some tricky spaces to resolve. I also wanted a certain kind of finish. The AGA was a special finish by AGA to match the silver units.I found some vintage wallpaper from the U.S which I used behind the AGA and either side behind the units which I sealed to waterproof and heat protect the paper. The work top was a granite one with some bits of mirror. The lighting above the top units was robe lighting of which you can change the colour of the light depending on your mood even to flashing disco if you feel the need to party! The cornice is the original but was stripped of all the existing paint which resulted in lovely faded layers of the different paints that had been painted over the years.
