Wrapping the gray painted cabinets around this wall and bringing them into the dining room provided a perfect spot to add a bar in the dining room. Anchored by the pantry on the kitchen side, the bar serves as additional space to present food, the perfect spot for refrigerator drawers, and display space above via floating shelves. Closed storage on the dining room side help hide all the essentials you need for entertaining.

We designed this dining room to be elegant in its simplicity and striking in its beauty. The bright, modern feel of the open space gave us the perfect canvas for this dining area; we kept the furniture lines clean while making sure the silhouettes were interesting and glamorous. The artwork and lighting are the focal points, as these are both unique and interesting pieces. The large upholstered end chairs bring a subtle contrast, creating the ideal balance of light and dark.
Project Location: New York. Project designed by interior design firm, Betty Wasserman Art & Interiors. From their Chelsea base, they serve clients in Manhattan and throughout New York City, as well as across the tri-state area and in The Hamptons.

This 1920's era home had seen better days and was in need of repairs, updates and so much more. Our goal in designing the space was to make it functional for today's families. We maximized the ample storage from the original use of the room and also added a ladie's writing desk, tea area, coffee bar, wrapping station and a sewing machine. Today's busy Mom could now easily relax as well as take care of various household chores all in one, elegant room.

This contemporary blue, silver, and natural dining room feels light and airy with custom drapery panels, silver accessories, and beautiful contemporary lighting. We love how the accent wall and blue ceiling addsa drama to this elegant room. Photo by Johnny Stevens

This dining room cabinet replaced an existing sliding door cabinet. The client wanted an open storage solution that would highlight their glass ware and bae a focal point for the room. The copper backsplash reflected copper touches in other parts of the home.
