This guest bathroom uses a neutral, off white and tan palette, starting with its topaz iridescent glass tile shower and teak shower seat. Its vintage wall sconce has an art glass globe; it hangs above an Indonesian root bowl and wooden vessel sink featuring a vintage style faucet of hand rubbed brass. Other details include an African sculpture and river rock set in the countertop’s grout.

dRemodeling
Keeping the bathroom feeling spacious and grand, the designer went with a glass enclosed walk in shower that is slightly recessed into the corner (technically an alcove), allowing for the space of the shower to not impact the overall feel of the bathroom.

Hall bath. Custom cabinet with heavy gage copper top. Porcelain shower wall tile. Kohler Tea for 2 tub. Small marble mosaic tile camouflages the compact and awkward floor plan.

This project was a refresh to the bathrooms and laundry room in a home we had previously remodeled the kitchen, completing the whole house update. The primary bath has creamy soft tones and display the photography by the client, the hall bath is warm with wood tones and the powder bath is a fun eclectic space displaying more photography and treasures from their travels to Africa. The Laundry is a clean refresh that although it is not white, it is bright and inviting as opposed to the dark dated look before. (Photo credit; Shawn Lober Construction)

The original vanity was given a face lift; new doors, drawers, and hardware blend well with the gray of the concrete counter top and tiles.
The original tall linen cabinet on the right of the vanity was removed and a new cabinet made shorter in its place that now has more functioning storage; drawers and a pull out hamper. This also changed the feel of the space as it opened up the corner as you enter the space.
