Kaizen Home Improvement
Except for the concrete pier blocks, this urban chicken coop boasts 100% recycled materials and fabulous natural light for "The Girls." Entry door is reclaimed shower door. Structure and cladding from old fence. Ramp was 33x22 sink cut-out. Nesting box flooring from vinyl remnant. Chicken roost from old exterior brick molding. The chickens are living large in the city.

This is lounge area across from kitchen area. The couch has been constructed from palettes and trim and an old trunk found in garage sale. It's hard to see but there is a loft bed hanging up above with clever carpentry and a chain suspending corner. The ladder was from an old deer stand that had collapsed in the woods from lack of use. Shutters were dumpster find.

This previously average Garage was turned it into an Elegant Workspace by adding lots of Custom Cabinets, Butcherblock Island and Counters and a Stainless Steel Sink adjacent to the Washer and Dryer. We also intalled (not pictured) a full sized Sub-Zero Wine Refrigerator, an Attic Access Ladder, a wall mounted Ironing Board, a French Door and Ceiling Hangers for 6 Bicycles.
