The new refrigerator location is still accessible to friends and family, but it's now far enough from the main work spaces they can take in the view without being in the way. Having removed the soffits and lightened up the wall colors, the home is light and bright, and functional. Photography by Schweitzer Creative

A freestanding hob/oven, a sleek stainless fridge, and an exposed rangehood set the stage. Shelves supported with steel add an industrial edge. The funky wallpaper stealing the spotlight, bringing in some lively energy to the room. And then there's the combo of stainless steel and timber benchtops, adding a touch of both sleek and natural elements. The stainless steel gives off a modern, shiny look, while the timber brings in a warm and timeless feel.

This kitchen area, despite it's very large size, feels very warm and welcoming. The custom backsplash consists of handmade tiles in the shape of leaves and has an amazing effect from every angle in the room. This kitchen also successfully incorporates several distinct areas (Breakfast area, office desk, mud room) in a very homogenous and natural way. Easier said than done! To match the shelves supported with steel, which add an industrial edge, we added pots hanging from the ceiling. This is not just for practicality but about adding a touch of whimsy. This isn't your typical kitchen; it's a mix of styles that brings a relaxed and fun vibe to the cooking experience.
