A complete kitchen redesign that improved the layout, functionality, and let the homeowner's personality shine. Mushroom colored shaker-style cabinets were paired with Silestone in lagoon. Brass and polished nickel accents temper the stainless appliances, warming up the space. Clear globe pendants keep the room from feeling heavy.

This kitchen island is the balance for a contemporary look. I've taken an antique work bench, refurbished it and poured a concrete counter for the top. The concrete although very smooth looks as though I took a chunk from a sidewalk,, polished it, and reused it. I strive to make all my concrete appear natural.

Our customer Barbara bought an upcycled teacup and spoon chandelier from EuroLuxHome.com for her eclectic kitchen. The charming upcycled chandelier hangs above the farmhouse sink, and it is hand-crafted to order by an artisan using vintage silver plate spoons and pretty teacups. Barbara modified the custom-made chandelier by ordering one tier of spoons rather than two. The unusual vintage-look lighting makes a great conversation piece in her kitchen! Barbara says, "I love the chandelier and get many, many compliments on it."
