This Victorian city home was completely renovated with classic modern updates for an eclectic, luxe and swanky vibe. Finding the milk glass pendants for over the island made the modern black cabinets pop. The adjoining dining room blends modern and victorian elements to tie the open floor plan together

We took the main living spaces of this multi-level contemporary home and converted them into one large cathedral ceiling great room perfect for family gatherings and day to day living. With added features like the stainless steel railing system, Escher pattern mosaic backsplash and upgraded windows and lighting this new space feels modern and incorporates all the elements this family desired for their new home.

This kitchen serves as a pool house kitchen. This allowed for more flexibility in design with a more playful approach. Because it’s not serving as the main or only kitchen we were able to incorporate more display features. At the top of each tall cabinet is located an intricately curved open display with a beaded backdrop. Above the sink is a fun cabinet with chicken wire doors, allowing for more display, while adding an element of interest. A hammered copper farmhouse sink in a base cabinet with acanthus corners and a scrolled valance carry the interest from top to bottom. Disguising a pantry entrance is the tall armoire cabinet to the right. This hidden passage is known as our famous Hideaway.

You wouldn't believe this was the same space if you had seen the 'before'. We opened an interior wall, and reconfigured the space to maximize both cooking function and family gathering.
Cabinetry is Alder with a natural finish. Floors are finish-in-place Hickory (solid) with a light/medium stain. Counter tops are granite.
This is just one part of this whole-house renovation. The interior was stripped to bare framing with all new electrical, plumbing, mechanical and then all the finishes as well.
