Elite Appliance - Kitchen Vignettes

I wanted to balance the bold look of the sleek contemporary cabinets with very simple and more classic surrounding materials. The backsplash is composed of marble, a very ancient material, in a modern shape and design. The stripes of the white wallcovering create a subtle pattern reminiscent of a man's dress shirt, but the reflective quality of the stripes ties in with the stainless steel appliances as well as provide a contemporary feel.
