This in-fill custom home in the heart of Chaplin Crescent Estates belonged to a young couple whose family was growing. They enlisted the help of Lumar Interiors to help make their family room more functional and comfortable. We designed a custom sized table to fit by the window. New upholstered furniture was designed to fit the small space and allow maximum seating. Project by Richmond Hill interior design firm Lumar Interiors. Also serving Aurora, Newmarket, King City, Markham, Thornhill, Vaughan, York Region, and the Greater Toronto Area. Our St. Pete studio gave this beautiful home a colorful, cheerful vibe by adding bold colors and patterns. In the dining room, a lovely shade of teal creates the perfect backdrop for a triptych style tortoise artwork. The kitchen is bright and airy, and the beautiful bar chairs in pretty blue patterns add a hint of style. The bedrooms are all designed to feel cozy and relaxed, with soothing textures and details that differentiate the three bedrooms as unique and distinctive. --- Pamela Harvey Interiors offers interior design services in St. Petersburg and Tampa, and throughout Florida's Suncoast area, from Tarpon Springs to Naples, including Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and Sarasota. We designed the layout of this home around family. The pantry room was transformed into a beautiful, peaceful home office with a cozy corner for the family dog. The living room was redesigned to accommodate the family’s playful pursuits. We designed a stylish outdoor bathroom space to avoid “inside-the-house” messes. The kitchen with a large island and added breakfast table create a cozy space for warm family gatherings. ---Project designed by Courtney Thomas Design in La Cañada. This living room design is best appreciated when compared to the frumpy "before" view of the room. The lovely bones of this cute bungalow cried out for a "refresh". This tall couple needed a sofa that would be supportive . I recommended a clean lined style with legs to open up the rather small space. The minimalist design of the contemporary swivel chair is perfect for the center of the room. A media cabinet with contrasting white and driftwood finishes offers storage but doesn't appear too bulky. The marble cocktail table and faux bois end tables add a nature inspired sense of elegance.

Once the playroom, this room is now the kids’ den—a casual space for them to lounge watching a movie or hang with friends playing video games. Strong black and white geometric patterns on the rug, table, and pillows are paired with a bold feature wall of colorful hexagon paper. The rest of the walls remain white and serve as a clean backdrop to furniture that echoes the strong black, whites, and greens in the room.

The den which initially served as an office was converted into a television room. It doubles as a quiet reading nook. It faces into an interior courtyard, therefore, the light is generally dim, which was ideal for a media room. The small-scale furniture is grouped over an area rug which features an oversized arabesque-like design. The soft pleated shade pendant fixture provides a soft glow. Some of the client’s existing art collection is displayed.
