Large Victorian family home undergoes a bold stylish redecoration with well crafted oak floors throughout, Whitehall Park N19 Special details on the landing The landing has some special Victorian details. The floorboards unusually go right to the edge of the stairwell and the spindles go straight into the floor. This was the original design and we were keen to preserve these special simple, elegant details. But this presented a challenge when installing a new floor. We developed a bespoke solution to install the floor under the spindles without damaging them or altering the original look. Our experience, skills and tools came together to create a magically seamless solution. The new floors look just like it had always been there.
