The front gate of this home consists of concrete pavers leading you into a stone and stucco home with a round turret and cantera columns with a tile roof and 4-car garage. The glass and steel front door was custom made for this home.

This beautiful Mediterranean - Santa Barbara home has stunning bones, but needed a refresh on some of the finishes. Although we wanted to keep a Spanish feel, we didn't want Mexican tile everywhere. The kitchen received new tile on the backsplash, counter tops, copper sinks and cabinet hardware. The wood floor that runs through out the home replaced the exiting Saltillo tile. The cooking alcove for the range top was dated and arched. We opened up the arch to a more modern square. This gave the space more room. We added new tile that still has a Spanish feel, but a bit more contemporary. The fireplace in the adjoining great room received a new façade with a teal colored aged tile. This updated the space and popped a bit of color in the room.

While taking a formal approach to the home, C.P. Drewett designed the entryway with a series of sensuous arches through which a dramatic stretch of green lawn gives way to spectacular mountain views. We designed this sprawling landscape at our Spanish Revival style project in Rancho Santa Fe to reflect our clients' vision of a colorful planting palette to compliment the custom ceramic tile mosaics, hand made iron work, stone and tile paths and patios, and the stucco fire pit and walls. All of these features were designed and installed by Gravel To Gold, Inc.

Brick pavers create a winding drive that shows off a variety of raised stone beds, mature trees, Italian Cypress trees, flowering plants, and shrubbery nestled amongst lush grass. What a welcome home each day!
