This room went through a major transformation! Large obtrusive fireplace removed and replaced with fixed windows to provide a great view to the backyard. Furniture placement provides plenty of seating for family of 5 and guests. New fireplace (right side of photo) is surrounded floor to ceiling with travertine stacked stone, gas linear fireplace and reclaimed barn beam mantle

Take a look at the transformation of this family cottage in Southwest Michigan! This was an extensive interior update along with an addition to the main building. We worked hard to design the new cottage to feel like it was always meant to be. Our focus was driven around creating a vaulted living space out towards the lake, adding additional sleeping and bathroom, and updating the exterior to give it the look they love!

A cozy family room is all you need to feel warm in the pacific northwest. With newly painted grey walls from the previous owner, these new owners wanted to warm up the space using as much of their existing furniture as possible. A navy and yellow color scheme with warm woods help achieve their needs.

The addition off the back of the house created an oversized family room. The sunken steps creates an architectural design that makes a space feel separate but still open - a look and feel our clients were looking to achieve.
