Triple Dot Design Studio
Our west 8th Condo was all about making the closed condo into an open concept living space that takes advantage of the amazing daylight the unit enjoys. We brought in European touches through the herringbone floor, detailed finishing carpentry, and beautiful hardware on the doors and cabinets. Every square inch in this kitchen was utilized to maximize the storage for the homeowner.

Here is the completed family room looking North. We raised the the bottom chord of the roof truss to gain ceiling height from 8ft to 10ft. We enlarged the connection between the family rm and new kitchen to make it one space.

Patterned cement tile from the entry was brought into the fireplace surround to make the spaces cohesive. A framed picture of a surfer combined with coastal paintings grouped together on the mantel help accentuate the colors of the ocean.
Beachy Boheme Interiors
This family room was updated with a custom media built-in to store kids toys and keep the media organized. The walls were painted Benjamin Moore Balboa Mist, and white cabinets received matte black hardware and coastal rope sconces. Custom cushions were added to serve as a reading nook for the kids (but mostly, the dog sleeps there). Driftwood, succulents and air plants give texture and add life to this space. Light oak shelves are styled with beachy decor.
Pacific Coast Custom Design
We remodeled a dated drywall fireplace with this lovely ledger stone and new mantle and replaced the warn dated brick hearth with updated travertine. Simple yet elegant.
