Nautilus Homes
Beautifully appointed custom home near Venice Beach, FL. Designed with the south Florida cottage style that is prevalent in Naples. Every part of this home is detailed to show off the work of the craftsmen that created it.

Versailles patterned patios are composed of four different sized pavers. This distinctive French pattern creates visual rhythm yet can seem nearly random. A subtle change in scale and material from the upper patio to the lower one is just one more example of the high level of detail in this deceptively simple backyard landscape in Edina.
And if you didn’t get the message from the meditating frog or the ornamental snail – this backyard is designed to be a peaceful place for rest, conversation, and contemplation

The fire pit was custom built using poured cement which was intentionally finished to resemble Greek stucco. So were the bench and the planter wall. To remind of the sea, smooth white pebbles were spread in a circular fashion in and around the fire pit. Bright green turf provides a vivid contrast as it would under bright Greek sunlight. The living room wall was clad using stone veneer which echoes the ancestral drystone walls of the Greek islands.
