This is the old tennis court reconfigured as a French country garden.A French limestone carved fountain is centered within the new garden space. The sound of falling water follows down the decomposed granite paths through a series of rose arbors from Walpole Woodworkers.
Stonepocket Unique Landscapes
Landscape by Stonepocket located in Minnetonka, Minnesota Creating a elegant landscape to blend with a home with such character and charm was a challenge in controlled resistant. Did not want the landscape to overwhelm the home, nor did I want a typical landscape for this style that usually involves a box hedge. Utilizing light in the front to create a perennial garden give the home a sense of place. Keep the planting mostly to whites and greens in the back unifies the space.

Dig Your Garden Landscape Design
The hillside garden two years after it was planted. This sloped hillside was been transformed into a beautiful tapestry of colors and textures in every season. I specified drought tolerant plants and shrubs that are low maintenance and deer resistant. Located in Novato, CA - Marin County. The hillside has filled in beautifully!

BE Landscape Design
After a tear-down/remodel we were left with a west facing sloped front yard without much privacy from the street, a blank palette as it were. Re purposed concrete was used to create an entrance way and a seating area. Colorful drought tolerant trees and plants were used strategically to screen out unwanted views, and to frame the beauty of the new landscape. This yard is an example of low water, low maintenance without looking like grandmas cactus garden.

The front foundation planting plan included tall Junipers on each corner of the house, Inkberry, Mountain Laurel, Spirea, Hydrangea and Daylilies. This combination provides texture and color all year.
