Galley Kitchen

Kitchen cabinetry is a critical element in achieving fully integrated design of contemporary and modern style. The built-in cabinetry of this kitchen blends seamlessly throughout the space. The style is quiet and sophisticated with the designer’s use of simple, clean lines and flat panels are accented with granite countertops, steel hood, and storage units. Throughout the kitchen, neutral tones were predominately chosen with accents of warm red hues. The cool look of stainless steel against the neutral tones creatively compliments the geometric details of this contemporary kitchen. Using the granite countertop, the designer was able to create a wide inviting space where the kitchen flows smoothly into the family room without enclosure. Stylish simplicity is the key focus of this modern kitchen which is elegantly achieved with only a few accents of bold color to add to depth and clarity. Photography-David Livingston
