We worked with the client to tie the courtyard and the property together by adding clean, monochromatic details with a heavy focus on texture.

This fire pit patio is made of concrete pavers that look like natural stone. The fieldstone retaining walls are a good height for sitting to maximize usage. Natural stone steps and boulders ringing the fire pit add to the natural beauty.

Clear Creek Landscapes, LLC This project was done for a family with a small backyard. Their deck was rotted and unsafe. We removed the deck, added a paver patio, fireplace, seating walls, bordered the patio with a wall with waterfalls build into them, built a pergola with a cozy seating area. We also added a grill island and finished the backyard off with a serene waterfall.

This was a garden space that was a blank slate. All that existed before we conceptualized this garden was water loving turf. BKLD added two outdoor entertaining spaces in this small yard with a colored concrete patio and a crushed rock terrace for an informal fire feature. Umbrella stands were poured into the concrete so that outdoor umbrella's could provide shade and not blow away in this windier corridor of Petaluma. Who's ready for a beverage and some smores?
