If you'd like to start eating better (not just healthier, but tastier too), you will love yard-to-table gardening. Growing your own fresh food steps from the kitchen ensures you'll always have options come dinner time. Best of all, we can provide a helping hand, making an organic garden a reality for even the busiest families.

Never underestimate the power of a unifying architectural element throughout a garden. In this case, the custom built lattice. The lattice flanking both sides of the front facade does an excellent job of defining the property lines, creating privacy and adding visual interest to the home. Well-placed and size-appropriate containers throughout the garden offer a solution to difficult growing situations and a finished touch to the landscape.

In south Seattle, a tiny backyard garden needed a makeover to add usability and create a sitting area for entertaining. Raised garden beds for edible plants provide the transition between the existing deck and new patio below, eliminating the need for a railing. A firepit provides the focal point for the new patio. Angles create drama and direct flow to the steel stairs and gate. Installed June, 2014. Photography: Mark S. Garff ASLA, LLA
