Our customer had recently renovated their property and wanted a garden that would reflect the new look and feel of their home. We created a space that was an extension of their living space, with a contemporary zoned garden. Including raised patio dining area, composite decked area with fire pit and integrated seating.

The instructions were clear, make it cozy and comforting. Incorporate natural materials, don't hurt the environment, use lots of native plants, create shade, attract bees, butterflies and humming birds. Beyond the bifold doors, the pergola extends the living space further and is designed to provide natural shading and privacy. The space is designed for stylish alfresco entertaining with its chic Carl Hansen furniture. Luxury sheepskins and an outdoor fireplace help combat inclement temperatures. The perfect finishing touch is the wisteria and jasmine that were specially selected to drape over the pergola because they remind the clients of home and also because they echo beautiful blossom.

Existing garden was completely redone and deck was refurbished. Even though this was a small space but every vertical angle was maximised and detail was thought off. The water feature/bird bath was installed to encourage bird life into the garden and there have been many visits! Mixed planting with some feature rocks. The trellis feature on the key fencelines was custom designed by Parveen for this project and is a unique feature of this project!

Canadian cedar, especially when treated with wood protection will stand out adding a stunning focal point regardless of the season.

Working in Harmony with Nature One of the most remarkable aspects of this project is how the pergola and the clam shell-colored Trex deck were thoughtfully designed to complement and highlight the existing large red oak tree. Rather than overshadowing or competing with its natural beauty, the design gracefully worked around the tree, creating a harmonious coexistence between human craftsmanship and nature's elegance.
