This was a reconfiguration of a small bathroom. We added a skylight above the shower to bring in more natural light and used a rich, green tile to ring in some color. The resulting space is a luxurious experience in a small package.

Le pareti del volume vasca doccia non arrivano a soffitto e la copertura è realizzata con un vetro apribile. Un'anta scorrevole in vetro permette di chiudere la zona doccia. A pavimento sono state recuperate le vecchie cementine originali della casa che hanno colore base verde da cui è originata la scelta del rivestimento e colore pareti.

Open wooden shelves, white vessel sink, waterway faucet, and floor to ceiling green glass mosaic tiles were chosen to truly make a design statement in the powder room.

The master bathroom remodel was done in continuation of the color scheme that was done throughout the house. Large format tile was used for the floor to eliminate as many grout lines and to showcase the large open space that is present in the bathroom. All 3 walls were tiles with large format tile as well with 3 decorative lines running in parallel with 1 tile spacing between them. The deck of the tub that also acts as the bench in the shower was covered with the same quartz stone material that was used for the vanity countertop, notice for its running continuously from the vanity to the waterfall to the tub deck and its step. Another great use for the countertop was the ledge of the shampoo niche.

A double shower is the main feature in this 2nd master bath. The double hinged doors are spectacular and really showcase the gorgeous earth tone ceramic tile. We finished off the room with engineered quartz countertop and under mount sinks with Newport Brass fixtures.

Oh how I wish I had the before pictures! This used to be, hands down, the worst bathroom I had ever seen. The young couple who had me design this space wanted clean and modern. Working with posts that can't move and a really tight space was a challenge but it all worked out. They were a blast to work with and the space suits them perfectly. These homeowners came to us with an outdated and non functional bathroom space – the tub/shower was a badly installed handicapped tub in a very small bathroom. An adjacent room was so small, they couldn’t even use it for a bedroom, so they asked to take some space from that room to make a walk in shower, and then convert the remaining space to a walk in closet down the line. With a love for the age, history and character of the home, and a sharp eye for detail, the homeowners requested a strictly traditional style for their 1902 home’s new space.Beveled subway tiles, traditional bordered hexagon tile, chrome and porcelain fixtures, and oak millwork were used in order to create the feel that this bathroom has always been there. A boxed window was created to let more light into the space and sits over the new clawfoot tub. The walk-in shower is decked out with chrome fixtures, and a bench for comfort, and was designed with the intention to age gracefully in place. In the end, the black, white and emerald green color scheme are complemented by the warm oak wood and create a traditional oasis for the homeowners to enjoy for years to come.
