Ricardo is passionate about sustainable forestry. He specialises in renewable energy using natural systems in nature and we have created an environment that reflects this within his home. In this project we chose paintings that express fluidity and fengshui to embrace the wind and water elements of nature. To purify the air, we created a moss wall and the lush grass carpet generates the comforting sense of forest bathing. The splashback evokes the peaceful experience of walking in the forest amongst a sea of bluebells generating a sense of spring and new beginings. The bathroom is inspired by the vast, lush Amazon Rainforest and it's natural biodiversity. With the artwork here, we created an alluring tranquil space, incorporating natural raw materials and spiritual artefacts, brining a sense of calm and rejuvenation.

Vista general del baño del dormitorio. Destaca por la zona de la ducha que es una continuación del suelo de cemento. El lavabo se ha realizado con una viga de acero sobrante de la obra. La pusimos en horizontal y la cubrimos con unas chapas inclinadas pintadas en verde que formaron los senos que recogen el agua. El agua sale a través de dos tubos hechos a medida y se recoge por unos desagúes escondidos.

Their remodeled master suite is one of the couple’s favorite spaces. The master bedroom features a new fireplace insert and the new addition provides space for his-and-hers closets – no more sharing! Both closets include improved organizational and storage options for optimal functionality. The master bathroom is a showpiece with a free-standing bathtub overlooking their beautiful backyard, with a TV mounted nearby for leisurely soaks. Their spa bathroom experience is complete with double sinks, and a glass front tile shower featuring two showerheads and a rain shower for the ultimate in comfort.

A free standing bath sits next to large glass sliding doors from which one can take in the breathtaking views of the beach and the ocean. The double shower also has views of the ocean. Every aspect of these areas have been carefully considered to optimise the stunning views.

Removing the door header and the top half of the wall opens up the shower and makes the entire room feel bigger.
