Jane Ellison
Romance Master Suite
Things soar in the Master Suite, where Jane created an ornate decorative plaster ceiling with extra-wide molding handsomely framing the design where a capiz-shell chandelier punctuates the center, tinkling in the breeze when the room’s French doors are left open. “The best place for a wonderful ceiling is the master bedroom” says Jane. “My clients love to lie in bed and look up at it.” For a touch of unexpected, Jane paired a shiny embroidered silk coverlet with a cowhide rug and warm walls of a hue between chartreuse and lemon.
Sara Slade Interiors
The Master Bedroom has this lovely bay window that flooded the room with light. We wanted to give the client something they could close fully when needed and also something that would give some privacy in the day. This beautiful woven fabric from De le Cuona was used for the Roman blinds and then we added some voile curtains from Osborne and Little to filter the view and the light. To keep the room feeling contemporary we fitted the curtains onto a discreet Silent Gliss ceiling track to maximise the room height.

This large master bedroom was given a refresh with new paint, trim, lighting, and carpeting. The small balcony was also refurbished.

Inspired Interiors
This main bedroom is painted in Resene Zen. Tbe crisp white bed linen with deep blue pattern adds interest to the room and adds to the calm feel of this room. Styling with simple contemporary accessories in shades of blue, copper bedside lamps on round bedside tables with a copper framed mirror and accesories add warmth to the room.

Part of an extensive refurbishment project, these archive snapshots date back to the summer of 2016.
This beautiful Edwardian property was in need of some remedial care & the clients wished to use the opportunity to add some personal touches - such as the Laura Ashley 'Magnolia Grove' - supported by some well-chosen emulsion & eggshell colour schemes.
As with many older properties, there were several challenges to overcome: penetrating damp; blown lime plaster; blistered cast-iron column radiators; and the ever-gruelling wood-chip removal (to name but a few!).
A most pleasant & satisfying project!
