Hunt's Kitchen Design
Warm traditional kitchen design with a full Travertine wall to set the overall tone. We wanted the cabinets to pop, so we kept the granite, floors and back splash light, and used sage with black glazed custom cabinets and darker glass tile for contrast. #kitchen #design #cabinets #kitchencabinets #kitchendesign #trends #kitchentrends #designtrends #modernkitchen #moderndesign #transitionaldesign #transitionalkitchens #farmhousekitchen #farmhousedesign #scottsdalekitchens #scottsdalecabinets #scottsdaledesign #phoenixkitchen #phoenixdesign #phoenixcabinets

Collaborations are typically so fruitful and this one was no different. The homeowners started by hiring an architect to develop a vision and plan for transforming their very traditional brick home into a contemporary family home full of modern updates. The Kitchen Studio of Glen Ellyn was hired to provide kitchen design expertise and to bring the vision to life.
The bamboo cabinetry and white Ceasarstone countertops provide contrast that pops while the white oak floors and limestone tile bring warmth to the space. A large island houses a Galley Sink which provides a multi-functional work surface fantastic for summer entertaining. And speaking of summer entertaining, a new Nana Wall system — a large glass wall system that creates a large exterior opening and can literally be opened and closed with one finger – brings the outdoor in and creates a very unique flavor to the space.
Matching bamboo cabinetry and panels were also installed in the adjoining family room, along with aluminum doors with frosted glass and a repeat of the limestone at the newly designed fireplace.

This Award-winning kitchen proves vintage doesn't have to look old and tired. This previously dark kitchen was updated with white, gold, and wood in the historic district of Monte Vista. The challenge is making a new kitchen look and feel like it belongs in a charming older home. The highlight and starting point is the original hex tile flooring in white and gold. It was in excellent condition and merely needed a good cleaning. The addition of white calacatta marble, white subway tile, walnut wood counters, brass and gold accents keep the charm intact. Cabinet panels mimic original door panels found in other areas of the home. Custom coffee storage is a modern bonus! Sub-Zero Refrig, Rohl sink.

Lazenby’s Light Natural polished concrete is a creative addition to Sommer Pyne’s brainchild, House Curious. Designed to be a perfect environment for regular use and to add to the homeowners desire to “create magic for lovely people”.
Lazenby’s Light Natural polished concrete floors have been installed 100mm deep over underfloor heating. Inside and out, House Curious comprises 207m² of Lazenby’s mottled, satin finished, iconic concrete floors creating elegant architectural lines throughout.
Due to logistics and project programme the internal and external areas were installed at 2 different times. Four external steps were installed at a separate time due to their size at approx. 8m long and all shutters were stripped so that the faces could be rendered. This technique ensured that the steps were as close a match as possible to the connecting patio, forming a sleek architectural space.
Kitchen Associates
These Hopkinton, MA homeowners had a wonderful view of conservation land behind their house. This includes a beautiful view during every season as well as various types of wildlife. The problem was, they had only a small kitchen window offering limited viewing of the great outdoors. So, with the help of their contractor and Kitchen Associates, a new kitchen layout was designed. Three oversized windows were installed to create a panoramic view of the beautiful backyard.
Adding these great windows also created a challenge. With no room for upper cabinets, would there be enough storage? To solve this, a storage system was installed in several large lower drawer cabinets to store plates, dishes, and glasses.
