Lovely plant combination of Loropetalum and Coleonema (Breath of Heaven). These are two great plant combinations that don't need a lot of water and provide nice leaf color and textures throughout the seasons. Located in a Sleepy Hollow/San Anselmo garden in northern California. Other plants n this garden include Phormiums, native Penstemon, Snow in Summer, Lambs Ears and other colorful plants that create a beautiful low-water tapestry of groupings. The rock bands traversing the sloped drive do more than direct rainfall into the garden where it can fuel growth and resilience. They offer shallow, fresh water for pollinators and birds. On rainy days, they dance with feathered friends.

Even small spaces need great design. Container and small space gardens - decks, alcoves and patios are all great spots to "green" up with planted pots. Add color, texture and warmth to your small spaces - or drama to a large space - with a well-designed container. Birdbaths, fountains, troughs and more make great containers. Irrigation can be run to your containers or Oyas (water vessels) can be planted in the containers to provide irrigation and to keep your plants healthy.
