Townhouse update in Culver City

Another update project we did in the same Townhome community in Culver city. This time more towards Modern Farmhouse / Transitional design. Kitchen cabinets were completely refinished with new hardware installed. The black island is a great center piece to the white / gold / brown color scheme. The Master bathroom was transformed from a plain contractor's bathroom to a true modern mid-century jewel of the house. The black floor and tub wall tiles are a fantastic way to accent the white tub and freestanding wooden vanity. Notice how the plumbing fixtures are almost hidden with the matte black finish on the black tile background. The shower was done in a more modern tile layout with aligned straight lines. The hallway Guest bathroom was partially updated with new fixtures, vanity, toilet, shower door and floor tile. that's what happens when older style white subway tile came back into fashion. They fit right in with the other updates.

This primary bathroom features a luxury walk-in shower with floor-to-ceiling porcelain slabs on the walls, shampoo niche, and corner bench. The satin bronze plumbing fixture and linear drain finish add a beautiful metallic detail.

In this master bath remodel, we removed the standard builder grade jetted tub and tub deck to allow for a more open concept. We provided a large single person soaking tub with new wainscot below the panoramic windows and removed the traditional window grills to allow for a clear line of sight to the outside. Roman blinds can be lowered for more privacy. A beautiful chrome and black drum chandelier is placed over the soaking tub and co-exists wonderfully with the other fixtures in the room. The combination of chrome and black on the fixtures adds a little glam to the simplified design.

The master bath design created for this Yardley, PA home is a dream come true. Every detail of this design combines to create a space that is highly function and stylish, while also feeling like a relaxing retreat from daily life. The combination of a Victoria + Albert freestanding tub with the Isenberg waterfall tub filler faucet is sure to be a favorite spot for a soothing stress reliever. If you prefer to relax in the shower, the large, walk-in shower has everything you need. The frameless glass door leads into a large, corner shower complete with MSI hexagonal mosaic shower floor, recessed storage niche, and corner shelf. The highlight of this shower is the Toto Connelly shower plumbing including body sprays, rainfall and handheld showerheads, and a thermostatic shower.
