While the dining room wasn't square, it certainly worked best with a round table. This one seats six comfortably and could squeeze 3 more in a pinch. Custom velvet curtains. The original rounded-brick carport wall can be seen through the windows. In this space, that is somewhat open to the family room, I used a gray paint that has a hint of purple to it. A great dusky color.

Using our client's inherited dining room furniture, we added large upholstered chairs and modern lighting to give this room a more modern aesthetic. Framed agates in the project signature purple add whimsy. The couture lamps were handmade and silverleafed.

This Palm Beach apartment is all about the views. With it's modern lines, window walls with ocean views and bright clean lines, the modern style furnishings were well suited. Hidden within the ceilings, soft inlay lighting helps illuminate the space without breaking the sight-lines to the windows. The deep purple tones and rich fabrics add warmth and elegance to the simple lines of the modern design.

This whimsical dining room comes to life with a silver and cream chinoiserie pattern set against a quite lavender hue. Blush colored cherry blossoms add a hint of pink and allude to Washington DC's iconic trees. Accenting jewel-toned birds, butterflies and a snowing owl add to the room's charm in a timeless flora and fauna panorama. Trellis marquetry was painted into the paneling to tie the existing molding into the above design.

This client’s desire to create an ultra-modern dining room was achieved with the use of a brightly colored floor rug and drapery panels, as well as eclectic accessories and dimensional artwork. The clean lines of a dark espresso table with glass top and a fractal mirror created an open feel in a somewhat small space.
