Beautfiul cabinets and finishes. Shiplap, champagne faucet, updated lighting, tiled shower.
Christopher's Kitchen & Bath
This custom walnut vanity was built to offer ample storage and keep the space playfully modern and airy.
The very custom tub shower was a bit of a masterpiece in terms of features and function. The BainUltra airbath was installed in an undermount style with a piece of sloped quartz for the deck, to ensure proper draining. The beautiful 3D wall tile creates an unforgettable texture over the large space.
The tub/shower features an oversized airbath, thermostatic controls for the handshower, rain shower and wallmounted tub filler.
To hide the beautiful tile behind a framed door or curtain would have been sinful, so the space was completed with twin sliding glass doors.

The clear glass shower screen has black fittings to match the tapware and prevents splash onto the vanity zone. The side to the wall bath provides the style of a freestanding bath, without the required floor area.

The guest bathroom has a patterned tile that we also used on the shower wall to create a larger, more dynamic feel. The light teal painted vanity is accented with matte black hardware and faucet.
Ellen Weiss Design
The client had several requirements for this Seattle kids bathroom remodel. They wanted to keep the existing bathtub, toilet and flooring; they wanted to fit two sinks into the space for their two teenage children; they wanted to integrate a niche into the shower area; lastly, they wanted a fun but sophisticated look that incorporated the theme of African wildlife into the design. Ellen Weiss Design accomplished all of these goals, surpassing the client's expectations. The client particularly loved the idea of opening up what had been a large unused (and smelly) built-in medicine cabinet to create an open and accessible space which now provides much-needed additional counter space and which has become a design focal point.
