An exhilarating shift from a suburban traditional family home to a modern, high-rise condominium. We were excited to start with a clean slate and designed this 3,500sf space, transitioning this client into their next chapter. The overall color palette embraces a calm and serene aesthetic, while the furnishings and appointments ensure inviting spaces throughout the unit. Special details were strategically infused such as contrast chair back fabric, accent wall coverings, designer light fixtures, unique sculptures and no shortage of custom details on the furnishings, uniquely tailored to the customer. This luxury, high-rise condo now feels like home.

Laura and her two children live in a two bedrooms apartment. Their first need was combine an unique space for each child, a girl (9) and a boy (4) in a same room. We proposed a flexible division materialized with a curtain to be able to separate or connect the space as needed. The two areas were personalized with different wallpapers in the same color range in order to create a harmonized ambiance.
In Laura's bedroom, the highlighted object was the printed fabric headboard, which was combined with neutral colors and natural materials. It was included a desk and extra storage to make a small office.

The bed folds up on to the wall behind it between wardrobes, assisted by concealed hydraulic gas pumps requiring minimal effort by one person. Once the bed is folded up, sliding folding doors are drawn across it to align with the adjacent cupboards. Once closed, the entire wall appears to be a continuous wardrobe, with no hint of the bed behind, completely transforming the room. The bed has a ply base over aluminium framing and a carved wooden edge band all around.
