Nothing symmetrical about it! The fireplace instantly gives a feeling of cosiness and intimacy. The room is private with a wall dividing this room from the rest of the house. Different uses of material gives a modern a feel. The height of the timber with lines vertical to lift the eye up. A small space that looks large. Shelves and niches are interesting and non symmetrical. Lines make up this space; from the fireplace and shelves to the timber and windows. There is a lot of light streaming in from the side windows and there appears to be skylights with light streaming from above and behind the photographer. very warm with unobtrusive lighting.
