A pool side bar was given a colourful lift with a deep green wall paint colour and a vibrant tropical wallpaper. A gas strut window opens up to the pool deck. French bistro barstools keep to the Island style theme.
Thompson Remodeling
It's amazing what the removal of bulkheads and a wall can do for a kitchen! In this kitchen remodel, we removed a wall to make the kitchen larger and integrated an eat-in space. We also took out bulkheads and extended cabinets to the ceiling, which makes the space feel larger and provides more storage space.
For a modern take on the traditional design aesthetic, we paired white upper cabinets with dark toned wood bottoms and island. A dry bar with glass front cabinets was added to the eat-in area.

A home bar was built into the area to separate the kitchen / breakfast from the family room. An additional use for the bar is a landing area when entering from the garage through the mudroom. With a counter and high bar area, bar stools allow for additional seating while entertaining. Decorative capiz shell penants provide direct light on the bar surface. The barstools are also upholstered in a easy to maintain vinyl and swivel around to join the conversations. Photo: MIro Dvorscak
Chester County Kitchen & Bath
We remodeled this large angled kitchen in West Chester. This kitchen already had an interesting shape and tons of windows with great views of the homes backyard. We refinished the entire homes hardwood flooring and wow did Chris Rolek ( hardwood refinisher ) do a fantastic job. The cabinetry was designed and installed using Fieldstone Cabinetry in the Farmington door. The white painted perimeter cabinets were contrasted with a peppercorn painted island and bar area. Beautiful MSI Calacatta Laza quartz countertops blend seamlessly with the new tiled backsplash. Quartz surfaces have come a long way and now perfectly mimic natural stones with the durability that can only come from quartz countertops. What an Awesome new look.
