Unglazed porcelain – There is no glazing or any other coating applied to the tile. Their color is the same on the face of the tile as it is on the back resulting in very durable tiles that do not show the effects of heavy traffic. The most common unglazed tiles are the red quarry tiles or the granite looking porcelain ceramic tiles used in heavy commercial areas. Historic matches to the original tiles made from 1890 - 1930's. Subway Ceramic floor tiles are made of the highest quality unglazed porcelain and carefully arranged on a fiber mesh as one square foot sheets. A complimentary black hex is also in stock in both sizes and available by the sheet for creating borders and accent designs. In this room we kept the modern coastal trend but incorporated a playful tone by adding extra pops of color. Behind the beds we placed a bold blue and white striped wall paper to bring in a nautical element while also brining in texture with oversized woven pendants. A neutral office composes this wonderful office design. Blacks, whites and beige set the tone for a light, bright, and airy home office perfect for those who work for home or those who just need space to study. A custom built in serves the purpose for both function with an abundance of storage on top and below but also is aesthetically pleasing. Inspirational quotes line the walls and fill in the built in for added decor. A pop of green and the area rug from Urban Outfitters gives this space the modern bohemian vibe.
