This open kitchen uses Scavolini framed antique walnut veneer cabinets. The handles are a bridge type in brushed nickel. Cabinets with frosted glass and lighting brighten the space and add contrast. Oiled soap stone is used for the countertops with a flat profile to adding modernity to the kitchen. A nod to the homeowners love of aspen is through the backsplash in an unfinished grey stone, giving the feel of a ski lodge. A large island is used for work space as well as hosting with plenty of space for both.
