In the Calistis’ efforts to avoid the “white museum” look of many modern houses, a warm color palette was chosen for the main living areas. “Amy suggested most of the color ranges, and we got large samples to hang on the walls in the space during construction”, Lee says. “Several years later we still like them just as much.” Although the color range promotes a sense of coziness, there is no threat of darkness thanks to the prevalence of glass that makes up the back wall.
