Industrial farmhouse kitchen remodel

Soft wood floors that dented easily were replaced with oversize slate slabs for functionality and a more commercial look with functionality. Dated and broken appliances were recycled and replaced with state-of-the-art Viking and Sub Zero varieties – and a wine cooler. An alcove was created so the family could install a flatscreen TV within one of the cabinets – perfect for watching cooking shows and making sure no one misses a touchdown when running in for a snack. A large window, once over the sink, was removed to accommodate a commercial style range, while the sink was moved to a different wall to take advantage of views of nature.
