Interior for a Contemporary style home with Traditional Flair

This flowing open kitchen plan reflects the curved design found throughout the house. There are very few corners. The island was created as a floating space for food prep & eating as well as TV viewing from the nearby family room as you sit at the bar. The cabinets were hand finished in a light stained & antiqued finish. Black granite & black accessories give the room a very contemporary feel. Appliances have wood finishes.
