HCC Interiors
The homeowners contacted HCC Interiors after completing on their new house in Hertfordshire. The North facing 80s kitchen was dark and flow was hindered by a central peninsula. Despite the large size of the kitchen, and plentiful cabinets, there wasn't enough storage available. HCC provided planning and aesthetic expertise, architectural changes suggestions as well as detailed lighting and electrical plans in order to make this kitchen renovation a success. The units were then manufactured and installed by DeVOL Kitchens.

We tailored this major kitchen update to meet the needs of our client for whom regularly gathering her adult children and their families for home cooked meals is a tradition hailing from her southern heritage. The Wolf range, Sub Zero refrigerator and freezer, commercial grade range hood and strategically placed prep sink were designed to support her love of cooking and large scale meal preparation. By replacing a smaller island and peninsula with an expansive sixteen foot island we greatly increased both the storage and the seating capacity, providing plenty of space for family and friends to comfortably gather in this true heart of the home. Other must haves like the built in coffee maker, dedicated wine refrigerators and bar area, and a built in buffet niche for storing several dish collections make this a modern kitchen with traditional roots that is ideal for entertaining and relaxing.
Weave Interiors
With the new doors the feel of the space completely changed. It came a lighter and brighter spaces and with the few extra spare metres made all the difference to the space in the room. Keeping everything neutral was key to this project to maximise rental potential
CO Interiors
We ended the kitchen with a mini desk area which our client uses to look up recipes or to quickly check emails while cooking. Just like any great desk a pencil drawer was a must! Discretely tucked under the work surface, it keeps pens and notepads out of sight and organized.
