Smart Remodeling LLCCloseup of the kitchen.
We opened the area between the kitchen and living area. We installed a support wall and make it an open area. raised panel-style custom-made cabinets with storage solution. One Custom made Island with custom paint. We used ceramic tiles for the backsplash. We used a Quartz countertop with a farmhouse sink. The flooring was from porcelain tile. We change the plumbing lines. We did the electricity, the flooring, and the paint. The appliance finish was stainless steel, and the final look was fantastic
CMC Design Studio LLCNewlyweds had just moved into their new home and immediately wanted to update their kitchen which is located in the center of the household, lacking any natural light source of its own. To make matters worse, the cabinets in place were dark red with black countertops. Not the picture of brightness they were looking for. To increase the amount of light reflected throughout the kitchen, we incorporated some of the following updates:
1. Replaced the solo ceiling light with 4 recessed cans
2. Updated the florescent undercabinet lights with new LED strips
3. Installed custom white cabinets topped with Silestone’s new Artic Ocean white countertops
4. Updated the dark glass pendants over the bar with larger, clear glass pendants that spoke more to the history of the home
5. Painted the walls a soft gray to compliment the palette
The original kitchen layout was updated to eliminate the existing soffits and open the visual feel of the space. A large white farm sink now centers the natural wood bar area, inviting guests to sit and gather for ballgames and celebrations. Glass tile and USB ports at charging sites complete the space for the family to grow over the years.

emma delonThis warm and inviting Tuscan inspired kitchen is located in a lovely little neighborhood in Durham, North Carolina. Here, warm cream cabinets are accented beautifully with Cambria Canterbury Quartz countertops, Jerusalem Gold limestone backsplashes, and bronze accents. The stainless steel appliances and Kohler stainless steel Simplice faucet provide a nice contrast to the dark bronze hardware, tile inserts, and light fixtures. The existing breakfast room light fixture, table, and chairs blend beautifully with the new selections in the room. New hardwood floors, finished to match the existing throughout the house, work fabulously with the warm yellow walls. The careful selection of cabinetry storage inserts and brand new pantry storage units make this kitchen a wonderfully functional space and a great place for both family meals and entertaining.

Cláudia de Sousa - Interior DesignLos clientes me contactaran para realizar una reforma de la área living de su casa porque no se sentían a gusto con los espacios que tenían, ya que eran muy cerrados, obstruyan la luz y no eran prácticos para su estilo de vida.
De este modo, lo primero que sugerimos ha sido tirar las paredes del hall de entrada, eliminar el armario empotrado en esa área que también bloqueaba el espacio y la pared maestra divisoria entre la cocina y salón.
Hemos redistribuido el espacio para una cocina y hall abiertos con una península que comunican con el comedor y salón.
El resultado es un espacio living acogedor donde toda la familia puede convivir en conjunto, sin ninguna barrera. La casa se ha vuelto mas luminosa y comunica también con el espacio exterior. Los clientes nos comentaran que muchas veces dejan la puerta del jardín abierta y pueden estar cocinando y viendo las plantas del exterior, lo que para ellos es un placer.
Los muebles de la cocina se han dibujado à medida y realizado con nuestro carpintero de confianza. Para el color de los armarios se han realizado varias muestras, hasta que conseguimos el tono ideal, ya que era un requisito muy importante. Todos los electrodomésticos se han empotrado y hemos dejado a vista 2 nichos para dar mas ligereza al mueble y poder colocar algo decorativo.
Cada vez más el espacio entre salón y cocina se diluye, entonces dibujamos cocinas que son una extensión de este espacio y le llamamos al conjunto el espacio Living o zona día.
A nivel de materiales, se han utilizado, tiradores de la marca italiana Formani, la encimera y salpicadero son de Porcelanosa Xstone, fregadero de Blanco, grifería de Plados, lámparas de la casa francesa Honoré Deco y papel de pared con hojas tropicales de Casamance.

The desk area is now a microwave drawer and where the microwave used to be above the stove is now an awesome hood! New quartz countertops, herringbone patterned tile and hardware were additional upgrades to the space to give it an entirely different look!

The Holiday Kitchens shaker style cabinetry has plenty of storage including deep drawers and glass front display cabinets surrounding the wall-mount chimney hood. The cabinetry is complemented by Top Knobs hardware, a Monte Crisco granite countertop, and white subway tile backsplash. Floating shelves add to the bright, airy feel of this kitchen and offer additional display space. The cabinetry extends into a peninsula that incorporates barstool seating and a double bowl sink. Thyme & Place Design LLCThis small kitchen packs a powerful punch. By replacing an oversized sliding glass door with a 24" cantilever which created additional floor space. We tucked a large Reid Shaw farm sink with a wall mounted faucet into this recess. A 7' peninsula was added for storage, work counter and informal dining. A large oversized window floods the kitchen with light. The color of the Eucalyptus painted and glazed cabinets is reflected in both the Najerine stone counter tops and the glass mosaic backsplash tile from Oceanside Glass Tile, "Devotion" series. All dishware is stored in drawers and the large to the counter cabinet houses glassware, mugs and serving platters. Tray storage is located above the refrigerator. Bottles and large spices are located to the left of the range in a pull out cabinet. Pots and pans are located in large drawers to the left of the dishwasher. Pantry storage was created in a large closet to the left of the peninsula for oversized items as well as the microwave. Additional pantry storage for food is located to the right of the refrigerator in an alcove. Cooking ventilation is provided by a pull out hood so as not to distract from the lines of the kitchen.

The compact layout was designed to provide generous counter space, comfortable walking clearances, and abundant storage. The bold colors and fun patterns anchored by the warmth of the dark wood flooring create a happy and invigorating space.
