Nos clients, une famille avec 3 enfants, ont fait l'acquisition de ce bien avec une jolie surface de type loft (200 m²). Cependant, ce dernier manquait de personnalité et il était nécessaire de créer de belles liaisons entre les différents étages afin d'obtenir un tout cohérent et esthétique. ⁠ ⁠ Nos équipes, en collaboration avec @charlotte_fequet, ont travaillé des tons pastel, camaïeux de bleus afin de créer une continuité et d’amener le ciel bleu à l’intérieur. ⁠ ⁠ Pour le sol du RDC, nous avons coulé du béton ciré @okre.eu afin d'accentuer le côté loft tout en réduisant les coûts de dépose parquet. Néanmoins, pour les pièces à l'étage, un nouveau parquet a été posé pour plus de chaleur. ⁠ ⁠ Au RDC, la chambre parentale a été remplacée par une cuisine. Elle s'ouvre à présent sur le salon, la salle à manger ainsi que la terrasse. La nouvelle cuisine offre à la fois un côté doux avec ses caissons peints en Biscuit vert (@ressource_peintures) et un côté graphique grâce à ses suspensions @celinewrightparis et ses deux verrières sur mesure. ⁠ ⁠ Ce côté graphique est également présent dans les SDB avec des carreaux de ciments signés @mosaic.factory. On y retrouve des choix avant-gardistes à l'instar des carreaux de ciments créés en collaboration avec Valentine Bärg ou encore ceux issus de la collection "Forma".⁠ ⁠ Des menuiseries sur mesure viennent embellir le loft tout en le rendant plus fonctionnel. Dans le salon, les rangements sous l'escalier et la banquette ; le salon TV où nos équipes ont fait du semi sur mesure avec des caissons @ikeafrance ; les verrières de la SDB et de la cuisine ; ou encore cette somptueuse bibliothèque qui vient structurer le couloir

Pairing cream colored Medallion Silverline kitchen cabinets with a vibrant blue and gold color scheme, this kitchen design in Haslett achieves the ideal French country style. Cambria quartz countertops and Jeffrey Alexander hardware beautifully accent the cabinetry. A custom hutch in matching cabinet finish offers extra storage and glass front cabinets for displaying dishes and glassware. Our clients were excited to move forward with their long-awaited kitchen renovation. Their wish list included removing almost everything in the kitchen. Remaining in the kitchen were the beautiful tin ceiling tiles — a family gift from many years ago. In the new laundry room, our clients wanted a multi-function space to accommodate laundry chores and also act as a butler’s pantry and staging area for large family gatherings. The newly renovated kitchen starts with rich, warm, walnut wood recessed panel cabinets with an ember stain. The cream, gray and white matte leathered granite countertops complement the new stainless appliances. The focal point of the kitchen is the beautiful tile floor. A grey porcelain 6” by 24” plank tile is meticulously installed in a dramatic chevron pattern throughout the kitchen and laundry room area. The center island, which we were able to double in size from the existing, functions as the microwave area and provides storage as well. A highlight of the laundry/beverage sink area is the matte black Brio Solna faucet with Touch2O Technology — a nod to the latest trends in hands-free and motion-sensing faucet technology.

Our instructions from the client were to "create a fiercely modern, all-white kitchen, but with humanity." Working within a ten by fifteen foot space that was originally dark, cramped and inefficient, we created a new kitchen which is bright, open, and highly efficient for cooking. While no walls were moved, the openings to adjacent spaces were relocated and resized, further expanding the appearance of the space. We remodeled this small builders grade kitchen to be the homes new spacious center piece. This new Transitional kitchen has warm Fabuwood cabinetry in Fusion blanc with a contrasting island in Chestnut finish. Removing a wall and expanding the kitchen into the old formal dining room gave this client the space they needed to now have an island with plenty of room for seating and entertaining. The new tile floors in 12x24 Linden Point Bianco give the new space a clean bright look. The granite countertops in Ice White tie the flooring and cabinetry colors together; while the new backsplash tiles by Sonoma in truffle with the range feature by Walker Zanger add individuality and pop. 1. What Makes a Good Kitchen Design, and Why is it Important?

For starters, you want to find a balance between aesthetics and function. You may have heard of the ‘kitchen work triangle’, which refers to the space between your fridge, sink and stove. You want everything within easy reach when you’re working in the kitchen and look beautiful at the same time. It’s a good idea to take note of both when browsing our photo gallery.

2. Consider Your Space to Determine Your Kitchen Layout

Firstly, consider the space you have, and the limitations that come with it. Do you have a small kitchen and need to maximise your workspace and storage? Can you allow yourself some more space and a big island with seating? Are you designing your kitchen from scratch or renovating an existing design? Which appliances do you already own and what are their measurements? Are there windows you need to take into consideration when planning cabinets? How do kitchen, living and dining areas connect? Depending on your space and needs, you want to use a shape that suits you. U, G, or L-shaped kitchen, with or without island or peninsula? Know your dimensions, plan cabinetry carefully and consider the placement of your appliances. You don’t want to end up with a finished design, only for your significant other to question where the fridge is supposed to go. Consider from the start where your fridge, oven, microwave and sink goes to save yourself from starting again from scratch - remember the kitchen work triangle! You also want to plan the layout of your cabinets. Maybe you’re planning for a pantry and can do with less storage space in your kitchen, so that your design can be one without upper or lower cabinets for a different look. 3. Decide on a Kitchen Style, But Don’t Forget Practicality

You want the style of your kitchen to reflect your personality and taste.
