We have perfectly combined luxury and functionality in our latest project to create a kitchen that’s sure to impress. We’ve used a Nobilia kitchen, renowned for its high quality and exceptional design, and paired it with a stunning Dekton Laurent worktop. Inspired by the natural stone Port Laurent, this worktop features a dramatic dark brown background crisscrossed with veins of gold, making it a truly unique and eye-catching addition to any kitchen. To create a warm and inviting atmosphere, we’ve used earth tones like wood throughout the kitchen, adding a touch of natural beauty and perfectly complementing the worktop. We’ve also incorporated handleless cabinetry to create a sleek and modern look, which allows the stunning worktop to take centre stage. One of the standout features of this kitchen is the Bora hob, which is seamlessly integrated into the worktop, creating a streamlined and minimalist look. We’ve also included a large glass door opening to the outside, which floods the space with natural light and creates a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. To top it off, we’ve included a separate room for wine storage, adding extra luxury and sophistication. And to add a touch of drama, we’ve included some peculiar pendant lighting, which really sets the tone and creates a stunning visual impact. Overall, this kitchen project is a true masterpiece, showcasing the best in luxury kitchen design and functionality. We are incredibly proud of this project, and we invite you to experience it yourself. Our client had clear ideas on their preferred layout for the space and chose to have a bank of tall units behind the island, incorporating the appliances in a landscape configuration. A dark and atmospheric colour palette adds drama to this kitchen and the antique oak wood adds warmth and just a hint of Scandinavian styling. The wrap-around Silestone worktops in Eternal Noir tie the whole scheme together and deliver a striking finish.

March 2020 marked the launch of LIVDEN, a curated line of innovative decorative tiles made from 60-100% recycled materials. In the months leading up to our launch, we were approached by Palm Springs design firm, Juniper House, for a collaboration on one of the featured homes of 2020 Modernism Week, the Mesa Modern. The LUNA series in the Medallion color on 12x12 Crystallized Terrazzo tile was featured as the main kitchen's backsplash. The LUNA was paired with matte black cabinetry, brass hardware, and custom mid-century lighting installations. The main kitchen was packed with color, texture and modern design elements.

This client came to us with a very clear vision of what she wanted, but she needed help to refine and execute the design. At our first meeting she described her style as somewhere between modern rustic and ‘granny chic’ – she likes cozy spaces with nods to the past, but also wanted to blend that with the more contemporary tastes of her husband and children. Functionally, the old layout was less than ideal with an oddly placed 3-sided fireplace and angled island creating traffic jams in and around the kitchen. By creating a U-shaped layout, we clearly defined the chef’s domain and created a circulation path that limits disruptions in the heart of the kitchen. While still an open concept, the black cabinets, bar height counter and change in flooring all add definition to the space. The vintage inspired black and white tile is a nod to the past while the black stainless range and matte black faucet are unmistakably modern. High on our client’s wish list was eliminating upper cabinets and keeping the countertops clear. In order to achieve this, we needed to ensure there was ample room in the base cabinets and reconfigured pantry for items typically stored above. The full height tile backsplash evokes exposed brick and serves as the backdrop for the custom wood-clad hood and decorative brass sconces – a perfect blend of rustic, modern and chic. Black and brass elements are repeated throughout the main floor in new hardware, lighting, and open shelves as well as the owners’ curated collection of family heirlooms and furnishings. In addition to renovating the kitchen, we updated the entire first floor with refinished hardwoods, new paint, wainscoting, wallcovering and beautiful new stained wood doors. Our client had been dreaming and planning this kitchen for 17 years and we’re thrilled we were able to bring it to life.
