In this project, the use of integrated appliances adds to the visual and versatility of the kitchen. Double-drawer dishwasher eliminates energy-wasting half loads. Bonus: when entertaining, fill top draw with ice… presto, an insulated cooler that’s emptied by simply closing and hitting the “Drain” button. Space-hogging, side-by-side fridge replaced with taller, integrated unit more suitably proportioned to the space and client’s active, social lifestyle.

The purchase of JennAir oil-rubbed bronze appliances drove the rest of the color choices in this kitchen. Our heartwood maple cabinets in a driftwood color finish go beautifully with the rich dark sheen of the bronze. Additionally the client chose a palette of sagey greens and gray blues to finish things off. Since the sink was on an interior wall, we took advantage of the space above it to house a stemware rack and shallow display shelf. There is a pull-out trash unit below the sink and a integrated panel for the dishwasher.

Inspired by minimalist European design, using natural materials, and keeping clean continuous lines create this modern U-shaped kitchen. The natural walnut grains flow cohesively on the facade of the cabinetry in contrast of the stainless steel countertop creating sleek horizontal planes.
With functionality in mind, a breakfast nook is created from the extended stainless steel that wraps the side of the cabinets. In wall appliances are installed to maximize space. Also, the walnut cabinetry is repeated for the pantry to make the whole kitchen feel consistent.

Transitional design offers the best of both worlds, blending the textures of traditional with the sleekness of contemporary design. The unique molded subway tile is easy to clean, timeless and in the most beautiful shade of blue-grey. Smooth features and integrated soft lighting add to the farmhouse appeal but still offer a Transitional vibe. A motion controlled faucet is practical and in the chrome , its gorgeous. The large, deep, single basin undercount crushed granite sink is both functional for large scale cooking and its way to clean too! Changing the size and direction of the inlay behind the cooktop provides a focal point and echos the vent hood molding design for elegance.
Sustainable Kitchens
L shaped oak shaker kitchen painted in Farrow & Ball Ammonite. The worktop is engineered quartz and links in nicely with the floor tiles. The orange pendant lights over the sink run along with the toaster add fun pops of colour. The blue green metro tile splashback stands contrasts beautifully with the orange accents. There is also a raised breakfast bar that has an oak worktop.
